Black History Month!

Black history month is upon us! BHM always inspires me to learn more and get more educated about things and I am so excited to see types of Rév stories and articles this month!

What are you all looking forward to/doing for BHM?

At my work we're doing deeper local Chicago history cuts and sharing them in Slack! A lot of our volunteers are new to the city, so I'm excited for everyone to do some learning and celebrating together.

Hey Brandon,

Thank you for sharing your insight, personally for me I really like watching documentaries or films that go into the depth of African American history and the way it impacted our society. For example, I recently watched the film "Judas and the Black Messiah" and it really opened my eyes to the history concerning the Chicagoland area. From the way that the Rainbow Coalition was formed to unite everyone together to fight the injustices from the Police Department. I highly recommend this film!
