I think that the Marvel What If…? Project will connect to Loki to explain what the other universes in the multiverse look like within the current sacred timeline to show us these different scenarios and versions of characters that have been teased in the comics.
I also think that we may be building up the the Secret Wars comic storyline where all the universes collapse on themselves at the hands of Doctor Doom and he becomes god by manipulating all these magical forces.
