This September 30 represents the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. The day commemorates the lost children and Survivors of Residential Schools in Canada and reminds all of Canada's devastating, painful and long history.

Public commemoration and commitment to action are necessary elements of reconciliation with ample work to be done. See below for a few ways to learn more and take action today and everyday.

Interesting read.. makes me consider what the US is doing for their indigenous population who they treated equally as awful. People dont realize that residential schools were all over America too
