The first time I got involved and fell in love with change making was in sixth grade when my friends and I ventured to a park in Houston known as Oyster Creek with our parents. On a hot Saturday morning in March, we spent 3 hours working to plant a community garden. Although it was a long and tiring process, I was filled with joy after completing the assignment. A seed of love for community service was planted inside of me on that Saturday. Since that day, I have found the beauty in making change in my hometown and beyond!
When was the first time you got involved in changemaking?

Wow!! @Lethan that's a great story! Do you remember what inspired you and your friends to plant a community garden together at such a young age? Was it a school project? An idea from your parents?

Community gardens are a great way to get involved! I read @Hannah 's action guide and I'm going to plant my own in my community!

Great post! I'm new to change making but learning a lot through Révolutionnaire!
