@tyecompton is a Junior Political Science Major, and Legal Communications Minor at Howard University from Cincinnati, Ohio. Tye has been a longtime member of the Howard University Student Associate as an Academic and Professional Affairs lead since 2020. He also serves as a witness on the award-winning Howard University Mock Trial Team. Tye has previously worked for several congressional offices including Senator Blumenthal (D-CT), Rep. Gregory Meeks (NY-05), and Senator Brown (D-OH), and currently works with the Department of Homeland Security as an Intelligence Trainee. Mr. Compton will soon be transferring to the White House Office of Management and Budget to work directly with Director Shalanda Young's office about policy initiatives for the upcoming school year this September.
