Toronto Tiny Shelters is an organization building tiny homes for unhoused Torontonians. The organization has been providing isolated, water resistant, temporary housing for Torontonians living in encampments providing an alternative housing option for individuals who are unable to stay in formal shelters or feel uncomfortable doing so.  The City of Toronto has been actively removing these shelters and has recently filed an injunction against Kahleel Seivewright, the founder and builder of Toronto Tiny Shelters.

In the midst of a pandemic, during a time where people are increasingly in need of shelter, the City of Toronto is taking upsetting actions that takes away temporary homes from the people who need them most, thus putting them at greater risk. Watch the video above to learn more about Toronto Tiny Shelters and Khaleel Seivewright.

Sign this petition to demand that Mayor John Tory end the legal action that the city is taking against Kahleel Seivewright and allows Toronto Tiny Shelters to continue building and providing shelters for people in need.
