Meet A Revolutionary: Blaize Exeter

On Episode 1 of Meet A Revolutionary in collaboration with Roots, we are excited to sit down with Révolutionnaire’s own Junior Editor, @blaizeexeter for a conversation on Black History, changemaking and amplifying youth voices.

Blaize is a Toronto high school student, writer, and changemaker. She co-edits the arts and lifestyle section of her school’s newspaper, is a member of the senior band and a leader of her school’s wellness committee and women’s empowerment group.

Blaize is also the founder of Stick A Book in It. She started the digital book club during the pandemic to create a sense of community for students who are united by a love for reading.

Blaize is excited to be a part of Révolutionnaire as the Junior Editor because she has a strong passion for writing and wants to make a difference in her community. After graduation, Blaize intends to foster her interest in journalism by majoring in the field throughout post secondary. Blaize credits Oprah for offering a blueprint for her career aspirations.

As Junior Editor, every article on Révolutionnaire has crossed Blaize’s desk. Check out the Read+Write sections across causes for a sample of her work
